This hike resides in none other than Zion’s National Park. It is also the most treacherous of all the hikes in Zions National Park. The trail stretches from the bottom of the canyon, along steep cliffs, up to the top of a mountain within Zion’s canyon. Located in the center of a wide bend in the canyon, the views found at the top of this mountain are unparalleled.
The hike is about 5 miles round trip and consists of a 1500 foot climb. It is not for the faint of heart! During the last half mile, the trail is lined with chains to hold on to as you hike across a ridge that is flanked on both sides by sheer cliffs. If you can get past that, it is certainly worth it!
